Nicholas Avenell. Web-person

I am Nicholas Avenell, and I develop things on the web.

That's it, really. I work for startups and agencies, developing stuff to display information on the internet, from basic websites (including my weblog, Aquarionics) browser games (One day, Piracy Inc. will open to the public) and occasional attempts at posting fiction online.

Professionally, I've worked on BrowserAngel (A content relation engine that would have rocked your world), MATS (A system that means that you and your bank know where your mortgage application is), Trutap (A mobile based social network and IM client that's big in places that aren't here), Briefly for a social gaming company, and now for Skimbit, who are doing neat things for affiliate networks.

I can be found on the aforementioned weblog, Aquarionics, which has been running a weblog for longer than you've known the word, probably. I started an occasional diary in 1999 (Moving to Aquarionics.com on Jan 1st 2000), and it's been sitting on my own bespoke, baroque, ballistic CMS system "Epistula" since 2003.

If you want to stalk me on other services, you'll be wanting the page of Project Walrus, links to all my various online identities everywhere. If you simply want to contact me, you're recommended to hit Nicholas at Aquarionics dot Com or any of the various IM services linked on Walrus.
